This fun workshop covers felt making basics and how to make a 3D felt shape.
You will make a unique, stylish seamless handbag!
Suitable for those new to felt making and the more experienced.

WOOL/SILK ‘NUNO’ SCARF WITH LINDA KEITH
On this delightful workshop you will learn how to felt Merino wool and Silk fibres onto Silk Chiffon.
You will make a gorgeous, gossamer scarf in wonderful colours to enhance your own or a friend’s wardrobe (if you can bear to part with you ‘art to wear’ scarf)
A textile treat.

“Water Driven”
A partnership exhibition looking at the power that drove the machinery in the hosiery and tweed mills of the Borders. Following on from Heritage Week, this year devoted to the subject of water, showing maps, plans and photographs of the mill lades which brought the water from the rivers to the mills.

CATWALK 03 December - February 2012
“Fashion Sketches & Sculptural Models by Debbie Ying-Chia Huang”
Exploring the relationship between the 2D fashion sketch and the 3D model garment. Between the two there is often a loss of some of the intial ideas. Debbie Huang here presents work related to the method of ‘sculptural form giving’ that she has researched and which helps fashion designers communicate with design teams.
