“Fashion Sketches & Sculptural Models by Debbie Ying-Chia Huang”

Exploring the relationship between the 2D fashion sketch and the 3D model garment. Between the two there is often a loss of some of the intial ideas. Debbie Huang here presents work related to the method of ‘sculptural form giving’ that she has researched and which helps fashion designers communicate with design teams.

“Weaving the past” by Cheryl James & Catriona Andrews

Large photographs and drawings of an industry that was once at the centre of a community. First exhibited in the traditional working mill of Andrew Elliot’s in Selkirk, the exhibition explores the craft of the weaver and the making of fine cloth.
